    Jeff,
Hi I had ran across your site a few weeks ago, actually 2 weeks to late. I had a bathtub and surround put in my home the guy was Steve ( Not your Steve) from mi. Well when I got home excited to see my new tub I just cried. He put in this really small tub like a kiddie pool and a surround. Now the night before he called me from Home Depot told me I’d have to go with a different surround due to my window size. I agreed on that. I made sure to ask him about the tub I had ordered and he said yes no problem . So when I talked to him on the phone I was just so angry he was a total smart alec. My husband was home but has certain disabilities that he didn’t know it was wrong. I had left a credit card there because I assumed I would be home long before he could possibly be done. Day 1 when he came out and started to take off the green board on the back wall he said we had asbestos and mold. He actually left came back wearing one of those white suits, helmet gloves the works. I’ve had a serious breathing problem and thought something like that was going on. So when he put the surround up he only covered in plastic wrap. It was no thicker than the stuff you would use in your kitchen, Now my breathing has gotten 3 times worse. It’s like something is airborne in my home. I’m out the money ( he added an extra 300.00 ) and told me I’m out of luck. We still have to calk, put up molding and a whole lot more. So I will be checking your site for DIY. Thanks for all your great info just people should know buyer beware

    1. Oh my goodness Sheila, that’s terrible. Sorry to hear about your experience. He should have followed all the laws and regulations in your area for asbestos removal and taped off the vents/room. And before installing the tub gotten your okay on the size and shape. Please let us know if you have any questions. We’d be happy to help.

  2. I have been listening to you for sometime now, and saw where I could join you for a one time fee of $47. I jump on it for I need to do my bathroom and UR advice had always seem simple and fun to try. When I joined up I was on peoplepc.com, my other e-mail address, but I put this century link one down to receive the tutorials from you while on the people PC.com . If this is a problem please let me know. I also used this e-mail address because it receives a lot less mail and usually just important mail that I Luv to receive, look forward to hearing from you on this issue. Thank You, NJ
